Children are welcome, but they must be at least 9 years old and accompanied by an adult. The adult must sign a registration form on behalf of the minor child, and must remain present on the range at all times while the minor child is shooting.
Yes, children may shoot as long as they have their own equipment and are accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, and follow all range safety rules and procedures.
Archery can be challenging for all, especially children. Adequate levels of mental attention, strength and physical coordination are required to shoot safely and successfully. Since archery is a shooting sport, all students regardless of age, must be capable in the opinion of the instructor staff, of safely and comfortably handling all archery equipment, listening to instructions and following all range safety rules and procedures.
All our instructors are dedicated members of Joy Lee Archery Academy, and certified by USA Archery. Come see more about them in the Staff page!
